The Renovation Church Story

We stand for Lives Changed By Christ

Renovation Church is the God-given, God-driven vision of Pastors Shawn and Melodie Scott. Before realizing they were preparing for this vision, they served in ministry for over 20 years, holding and operating in a myriad of ministry positions such as Youth Pastors, Worship Leaders, Lead and Campus Pastors, and Administrators. 


In the summer of 2016, the Scotts planted a church in the Clarksville, TN area with a simple goal in mind – to renovate lives through the love of Christ. Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit and with the support of fifteen families committed to seeing this vision come to fruition, Renovation Church held its first service on Sunday, July 31, 2016, worshipping with more than 130 attendees that day. 

 

Over the next four years, Renovation Church continued drawing people who understood and held firm to the vision. Then in November of 2020, God blessed Renovation with the ability to purchase the land where they currently worship. And as they grew even further over the next two years, they poured into their Children’s Ministry and RC Kids Ministry in 2023 by expanding their 1200 sq. ft. building for more space to minister to children. This reinforced the heart of who they are by putting God first, encouraging strong families, and by teaching with transparency and the heart of Christ. 


Currently, Renovation Church ministers to hundreds, continues to grow immensely and move in God’s vision. As such, the Lord has impressed upon Renovation to plant a Church in Ft. Worth, Texas in the future, and to continue expansion through land construction. 

 

The Scotts are the loving parents of six beautiful children and will soon celebrate over 24 years of marriage!
